Thought:
How can we delight in the Lord? A synonym for delight is rejoice. I feel that in order to rejoice or delight in the Lord you need to have a close spiritual connection. The following are some things I try to do in order to be closer to God:
- Meditate,
- Read and study the Bible,
- Write in my journal,
- Worship with others,
- Pray by myself or with others,
- Look for God in all things,
- Go for a nature walk,
- Praise God through my artwork,
- and Share my thoughts in this blog.
What do you do to delight in the Lord?

Lord:
I find joy, peace, hope, and serenity in your presence. Thank you for being there for me if I am having a bad day, feeling alone, or unloved in this world. Remind me that you are always there and at any moment I can share with you my desires.
Bless others that are reading this devotional. Help them to have a new and closer relationship with you. I ask all in your Holy Son’s name. Amen.
