Merry Christmas!

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid.
I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is Christ the Lord.”

Thought:

It is Christmas. What a wonderful day!  The whole world joined together in celebration of the birth of our Lord. How blessed we are!  I hope everyone is having a great day with family and friends. I know you have better things to do today, so I am keeping this post short and sweet. Enjoy the time together. Let your family members know how much they are loved. Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time. Remember those less fortunate than you.  Have a very Merry Christmas!

Prayer:

Lord,

Thank you for this day to remember the birth of Christ.  Let today be a day of sharing love.  Heal broken relationships. Give us words to express our love to those around us, whether family or friend. Comfort the sick, the lonely, the grieving.  Give hope to those in need.  Bless us as we get ready to begin another new year.  Help us to know thy will. Guide us in all facets of our life.
