I've taught creative music, art, drama and storytelling activities to young children for almost twenty years, and I learn something new every day from these kids. But they apply to parents as all caregivers too! This article is so insightful and it’s a very important subject. Allowing kids to express their creativity not only helps nurture the artist within them but also the great communicator, thinker, problem-solver etc. I am contributing artist on www.kiddingabout.com and we look at issues like this in relation to toddlers and young kids.
